How do I export Lego® Rock Band into Rock Band 4?


NOTE: The Lego® Rock Band export offer was available for purchase for five years and has since expired at this time. If you did not previously purchase and export Lego Rock Band, you will not be able to export and download this content into Rock Band 4. There are no exceptions.


HOW TO EXPORT LEGO ROCK BAND ON XBOX ONE

 
NOTE: The Lego Rock Band export is currently not supported by the in-game Rock Band Music Store.

Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and are logged into the profile that previously purchased the Lego Rock Band export. Only users that previously purchased and exported Lego Rock Band using the same profile within the same console family will be able to export and download this content into Rock Band 4.
 

  1. Sign in to the Xbox account with which you originally purchased the Lego Rock Band Song Export Key. Lego Rock Band export songs are only available on Xbox One to Xbox account holders who purchased this product previously on Xbox 360.
  2. On the Xbox One Home screen, navigate to the Xbox Live Marketplace
  3. Navigate to Games.
  4. Select the magnifying glass icon for “Search all games.”
  5. In the search field that appears, enter the name of the song you want to download. (For example, search for “Kung Fu Fighting”.)
  6. On the result screen, select the Rock Band 4 add-on that appears for that content.
  7. This will open the offer for that song. If you are entitled to download it, you will see an option which says “Install.” Selecting that will install the song. If you are NOT entitled to the song, the offer will instead read “Bundle Only,” and will not give you the option to install.
  8. Repeat this process for the songs you would like to install.
  9. Once complete, navigate to your song library. The exported Lego Rock Band tracks should be available in your song library to play! Be sure to restart Rock Band 4 if you do not see your recently downloaded tracks in-game immediately.



Alternately, you can also:
 

  1. Sign in to the Xbox account with which you originally purchased the Lego Rock Band Song Export KeyLego Rock Band export songs are only available on Xbox One to Xbox account holders who purchased this product previously on Xbox 360.
  2. On the Xbox One Home screen, navigate to the My Games and Apps.
  3. Navigate to Games.
  4. Navigate to Rock Band 4.
  5. Press the start button and choose Manage Rock Band 4
  6. Navigate to Ready to Install – If you are entitled to the content, you should see 42 tracks appear in this section.
  7. Choose “Install All”. Please keep in mind that this will Install allRock Band content you have associated with the game, additional to these tracks.
  8. Once complete, navigate to your song library. The exported Lego Rock Band tracks should be available in your song library to play! Be sure to restart Rock Band 4 if you do not see your recently downloaded tracks in-game immediately.

 

HOW TO EXPORT LEGO ROCK BAND ON PLAYSTATION®4 (SCEA/SIEE)

NOTE: The Lego Rock Band export pack is no longer available for purchase.  Only users who previously purchased the Lego Rock Band export pack can re-download the pack for use in Rock Band 4.  Re-downloading the Lego Rock Band export pack is currently not supported through the in-game Rock Band Music Store.  The pack can only be re-downloaded through either the PlayStation®Network Store using your web browser or via the PlayStation®Network Store on your PlayStation®4 console.


Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and are logged into the profile that previously purchased the Lego Rock Band Export Pack. Only users that previously purchased and exported Lego Rock Band using the same profile within the same console family will be able to export and download this content into Rock Band 4.

 

Via Your Browser

  1. Make sure you are signed-in to the PlayStation®Network with the account you originally purchased the export pack with.
  2. Locate the Lego Rock Band Export Pack here.
  3. You should see an option to "Add to Cart" button. Click on the button to see a modal dialog that allows you to "Continue Shopping" or "Show Cart". If you are not entitled to the export pack, the page will display "Not available for purchase."
  4. Click "Show Cart".
  5. Confirm the contents of your cart includes the Lego Rock Band Export Pack. If so, click "Proceed to Checkout".
  6. You'll see the total cost of purchase of $0.00. Click "Confirm Purchase" and proceed to the next screen.
  7. You will see an order summary, and should see an option to download your content. Click "Download to PS4".
  8. Your content should begin downloading to your PlayStation®4.

 

Via Your Console

  1. Make sure you are signed-in to the PlayStation®Network with the account you originally purchased the export pack with.
  2. Go to the PlayStation®Network Store and search for “Lego Rock Band Export Pack”.
  3. If you are entitled to the pack, you can “Add to Cart”.
  4. Confirm the contents of your cart includes the Lego Rock Band Export Pack. If so, select "Proceed to Checkout".
  5. You'll see the total cost of purchase of $0.00. Select "Confirm Purchase" and proceed to the next screen.
  6. You will be presented with the list of songs included in the export. You can download each song from here.
  7. Voila! You now have your Lego Rock Band content.

   

VERIFICATION PROCESS


You are entitled to the Lego Rock Band export if you previously purchased and exported Lego Rock Band on the same profile within the same console family. Previously purchasing the export is the only way to be entitled to download the Lego Rock Band songs and export them into Rock Band 4. Lego Rock Band export was available for five years and has since expired.

Harmonix has no way to reference any personal information stored in your first-party account, as this information is handled exclusively by Sony or Microsoft, depending on your console of choice.
