Can I play the drums without a kick pedal?

In Lego Rock Band, you can choose the option to turn on Auto Kick, which will automatically play the Kick Pedal parts for you.

For the remaining Rock Band games, you'll need a kick pedal to play the game, as the bass drum is an essential aspect of drumming.

If you really, really don't want to use the kick pedal, you can turn on No Fail Mode, and turn off Crowd Noises to play the songs (otherwise the crowd will be less than enthused with the missing bass drum part). This does limit your experience as a drummer and a player, though, which is why we encourage players to give the kick pedal a try! It takes a bit of practice but is well worth the reward!
