My PlayStation 3 keeps crashing when I play Rock Band 3. Am I doing something wrong?

This is an issue that we're aware of and have dedicated significant resources to finding a solution for. Unfortunately, despite repeated above-and-beyond attempts, we have been unable to replicate the issue, and thus find either a cause or solution. We believe that the crash occurs when a great deal of information is being sent to the Rock Central Servers, particularly during online play or leaderboard navigation, and thus is experienced more frequently by players who rock out a great deal. Playing offline, or choosing to not save your progress when you play online may decrease the number of instances your game freezes by eliminating the exchange of information with the Rock Central Servers.
